10 Days Grand Tour From Fes to Imperial Cities & Sahara

DAY 1 : Fes

Meet you in the Fes airport or in the hotel where you stay. You will begin to explore the narrow streets and alleys of the oldest city in Morocco with a local guide. When you visit Fes you will feel like you have made a leap into the past: your senses will be lost among wonderful views, particular sounds, intense aromas and many colors. We continue with the visit of the souks, one of the most beautiful and lively markets in Morocco with the famous district of dyers, potters and blacksmiths. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 2 : Fes - Ziz Valley

After breakfast, we leave for Ziz Valley through the mountains and the cedar woods of the middle Atlas, where on the way, we will stop at cedar forest to see the Barbary Apes in their habitat. We will pass to Ifrane, a charming ski resort in European style. We will be in Ziz Valley, one of the most beautiful valleys of Morocco, for the evening. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 3 : Ziz valley - Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, we will take hiking to the oasis of the Ziz valley, in marvelous natural landscapes. At the end of the hiking we will head towards Rissani, until to Merzouga. After a glass of mint tea, we will leave our luggage in a room and leave for a camel trek towards a Berber tented camp in the middle of the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. The camel trek will last about 1 hour and 30 minutes. The tents are well equipped, with mattresses, blankets and pillows. It will be a unique and special night.

DAY 4 : Merzouga Desert - Ramlia Village

In the morning, wake up early to see a beautiful sunrise on the dunes. Return to Merzouga with the camel to have breakfast, a shower and then departure to Ramlia a small and authentic village lost in the middle of the desert. A place where you will experience the true essence of rural Morocco away from tourist places. Overnight at guesthouse.

DAY 5 : Ramlia - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley

After breakfast, we will drive off-road in the beautiful black desert through spectacular landscapes, which will make the trip unforgettable. Our journey continues towards the Todra Gorges through the high Atlas Mountains. The Todra Gorges offer wonderful natural settings, water sources, rocks, Berber villages and oasis. After the visit to the Todra Gorges, the journey continues to the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 6 : Dades Valley - Skoura - Amridil Kasbah - Ouarzazate

After breakfast, visit the wonderful Dades gorges; then proceed towards Ouarzazate through the Roses Valley and Skoura. Here we will visit the kasbah Amridil, a little known but very interesting kasbah. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 7 : Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

After breakfast, visit Ouarzazate, known as “the door of Sahara desert” and “Hollywood of Africa”. Here we will visit the kasbah the site of Ait-Ben-Haddou, an ancient fortified city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s one of the most famous and representative places in Morocco. The kasbah of Ait-Ben-Haddou has been chosen as the location for many films, for example Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, Prince of Persia, Game of Thrones and many others. At the end of the visit, return to Marrakech. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 8 : Marrakech (Guided Tour)

After breakfast, you will begin to explore Marrakech, also known as “The Pearl of the South”, with a local guide. Here you will visit many wonderful places, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian tombs, the famous Jemaa El Fna square, the beating heart of Marrakech, the famous Souq in the old Medina and many unique corners that will amaze you. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 9 : Marrakech - Ouzoud Waterfalls - Fes

After breakfast, we head towards the Ouzoud waterfalls, the highest in North Africa. The height of the falls is about 110 meters. It's a relaxing, wonderful and extraordinarily beautiful place. Our journey continue towards Fes through the middle Atlas. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 10 : Fes - Airport

Breakfast and transfer to the Fes airport.
